Digital Risk’s Chief Legal Officer Debbie Hoffman has been profiled in ACC Docket’s “Day in the Life” section, which sheds some light on the CLO’s whopping 17-hour days! The ACC Docket, the monthly magazine for the Association of Corporate Counsel features a an hour-by-hour Day in the Life feature of a leading General Counsel or equivalent in each issue.
Debbie’s ‘day in the life’ starts off at 6am with an alarm, quick dress, and then driving her “teenage daughter to her bus stop in our golf cart.” This is followed by a morning run, phone calls on the way to work, conference calls, lunch at her desk, meetings, working on a presentation for an upcoming conference, catch-up sessions, more calls on the way home, dinner, time with the family, and finally sleep. Well, there are a few things in-between all of that, but you’ll have to read the full article to learn those.
