Chief Operating Officer
Omar Quddus brings more than 20 years of strategic operations management expertise to his position as Chief Operating Officer, Advisory Services. He has a long history of guiding organizations from the ground up to become large-scale enterprises through the design, implementation and management of complex integrated business solutions. His solutions have served the needs of Fortune 100 clients including, Microsoft, Dell, Apple, Sony and Hewlett Packard.
Omar has followed multiple entrepreneurial pursuits as he co-founded and served as president of Advocate Auto Claims, created Gourmet Enterprises, a restaurant franchising roll-up with Raving Brands and created Millennia Properties, a residential properties investment company.
Along with several current Digital Risk principals, Omar lead the rapid growth of Connextions, Inc., from a start-up venture to more than 1,000 employees in five years. Under his leadership as senior vice president of Operations, the Connextions team designed and implemented integrated solutions for industry leaders such as, Mercedes Benz, Olympus, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, EarthLink, Levi Straus and Co., JP Morgan Chase and Sprint Nextel.
Chief Analytics Officer
Thomas, the Chief Analytics Officer of Digital Risk, is responsible for the data, analytics and decisioning systems in use and under development. He has over 35 years of related experience at a number of major firms and nationally known organizations.
In his career, Thomas and his development team leverage the extensive Digital Risk database to create unique and powerful analytics with an extensive focus being placed upon applications that determined the most appropriate, loss mitigating treatment for distressed mortgage loans. Thomas’ experience is complemented with a B.A. in psychology from Rutgers University, a M.A. in statistics and experimental psychology from the University of Virginia, and a M.B.A. from Stanford University.
Chief Financial Officer
Mark Hinshaw brings more than 15 years of experience to this position, having served in various executive positions for the nation’s leading lenders and investors. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President at JP Morgan Chase and Co (NYSE:JPM), where he oversaw $20 billion in origination’s. His broad range of responsibilities included product development, pricing, risk management, modeling, process re-engineering and strategic planning.
Previously, Mark served as Senior Vice President at Countrywide Financial Corporation, where he oversaw product development, pricing, competitive bench-marking and a variety of predictive analytics including credit risk, pre-payment speed and compensation optimization. He began his career at Bank of America Corp (NYSE: BAC) managing whole loan trading, whole loan pricing, risk management, securitization, hedging and M&A functions.
Mark holds a MBA in Administration and Finance and a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy.
Chief Technology Officer
Digital Risk’s Chief Technology Officer Eric Rawlings maintains the responsibility for the delivery, support, integrity and security of all company and client information technology platforms, data and services, as well as the internal security and data fulfillment groups that serve the company’s operational units.
Like several of his fellow Digital Risk executives, Eric was instrumental in the growth and success of Connextions, Inc. As Connextions Chief Technology Officer, he was in charge of the delivery, management and security of fulfillment and information delivery platforms for large scale e-commerce and health management services for several Fortune 500 companies. As Connextions’ sole technology representative within the client practice group, Eric provided incisive technological consulting to high-profile clients such as JPMorgan Chase, UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Mercedes-Benz, Sprint Nextel and Olympus.
Eric graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a graduate of the Carnegie Mellon CIO Institute and is completing his master’s degree in information technology at Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College.
Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Strategy
As Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Strategy, Randy's role on the executive team is to grow and brand the business significantly in the years to come. Randy brings 25 years of proven success in all phases of sales leadership and change management.
Randy adds executive level experience to Digital Risk from his national leadership roles at companies such as Morgan Stanley, Bank One, Royal Bank of Canada, Rescue Holdings and Countrywide Bank. In addition, he has had senior roles at PMI Mortgage Insurance and most recently, Fidelity’s ServiceLink where he led enterprise sales efforts for all of ServiceLink’s brands, products and services.
Known for his tireless, focused and disciplined approach, Randy has successfully built from scratch or turned around businesses at each stop in his career. Recognized as a goal oriented motivational leader who effectively creates an environment that leads to success, he is a customer focused team player with extensive experience in all facets of mortgage banking and vendor relationships.
Randy is currently a member of the Loan Production Committee with Mortgage Banker’s Association, he is a Rollins College graduate with a B.A. degree in Economics and is also a licensed Florida real estate agent.
Chief Legal Officer
Debbie Hoffman oversees Digital Risk's legal functions and the operation of the legal department. Debbie is responsible for the preparation and negotiation of legal agreements between the company and its clients. In addition, she manages client projects that require legal expertise and review. Debbie advises the company on a wide variety of legal issues and directs the company's outside counsel.
Debbie served as an attorney at the New York based law firm of Thacher Proffitt & Wood, LLP. While there, she specialized in the practice area of real estate finance, representing a wide variety of lenders in the origination, syndication and securitization of commercial fee and leasehold mortgages, including multi-state and multi-level property transactions.
Before joining Thacher Proffitt & Wood, Debbie was an attorney at Shanley, Sweeney, Reilly & Allen, located in Albany, New York. There she worked on corporate and real estate matters, while representing large commercial developers.
Debbie began her business career working in the audit department of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Most recently, she has been an instructor of legal writing at Florida A&M University, College of Law. Debbie has also served as an instructor at the business school of the University of Central Florida, teaching classes in real estate law and environmental law to both undergraduate and graduate level students.
Debbie earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor degree from the Albany Law School of Union University, where she graduated cum laude and served as an editor on the Albany Law Review.
Debbie is Authorized Florida House Counsel, a Member of the US Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York and admitted solely to the New York and Connecticut Bars.
Senior Vice President, Risk Management
Eric is an experienced mortgage professional with over 18 years' experience in the mortgage industry preceded by 10 years in commercial banking. He has a comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage business, from application to securitization.
Eric is accomplished in the areas of quality control, credit and operational risk and process improvement having held senior management positions in Quality Control, Repurchase/Loss Management and as a voting member of senior risk committees at several of the top national mortgage companies.
He graduated with honors from The University of Iowa with a BBA in Accounting and from The University of Iowa Law School with a Juris Doctor and is also CPA certified.
Senior Vice President, Chief Valuation Officer
Kevin Lahr is an industry expert in both residential and commercial real estate appraisal having personally appraised properties in 21 states. He brings to the company 34 years of appraisal experience, also having created and managed bank appraisal departments, appraisal management companies (AMC’s), and valuation vendor management.
Kevin specializes in creating start up appraisal departments and AMC’s and developing them into first class operations. Kevin’s accomplishments include creating and successfully managing a large national AMC company with annualized revenue totaling over $150 million, and managing appraisal volume of over two million appraisals. Through these efforts Kevin has extensive contacts throughout the real estate industry and developed a wide network of client relationships.
Kevin attended St. Cloud State University, studying business and is a certified General (Commercial) Real Estate Appraiser. He is an associate of the Appraisal Institute, completing all the MAI designation course work. Within the appraisal profession, Kevin has taught appraisal courses, published industry articles, testified before governmental committees, and has been a guest speaker at numerous events. Kevin and his wife, Amy, reside in the Orlando area and have two sons, two daughters, and six grandchildren.
