Digital Risk is the next-generation risk mitigation solutions provider for the
mortgage industry that systematically combines business-rule driven predictive
modeling tools, and hands-on due diligence. The Company was founded by a team of
visionaries with a proven track record of implementing breakthrough solutions in
multiple industries - notably the following:
- Development of one of the first integrated cost predictive modeling solutions
for the healthcare industry for all chronic diseases fueling the disease management
industry.
- Successful startup and business growth management of household technology
companies such as Apple Computer, Ciena, i2, Silicon Laboratories, MortgageFlex
and Connextions.
- Development and implementation of complex decision support, supply chain and
CRM technology solutions for Microsoft, HP, Dell, Sony, Mercedes Benz, Blue Cross,
United Healthcare and a host of financial and lending institutions.
- Development and ongoing expansion of one of the industry’s leading loan
origination systems.
- Formation of the mortgage industry’s first private contract with the Social
Security Administration (SSA) for authentication of Social Security numbers against
the SSA database.
Collaboratively, they are pooling their skills, talents and insights to create a
new set of breakthrough solutions, which provide risk mitigation for firms within the
$4.2 trillion mortgage industry.

Board Members
H. Berry Cash, Chairman
H. Berry Cash began his professional career at Texas Instruments in 1964, after completing three years in the Air Force, a BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M, and a MBA from Western Michigan. In 1969, he co-founded Mostek Corporation where he was a director and Vice President of Marketing, until the company was sold in 1981. Mr. Cash was a consultant both to Apple Computer on the initial Macintosh project and InteCom where he helped establish sales and distribution channels. In 1981 he founded ProNet, a paging service company. He began his own venture capital partnership, Berry Cash Southwest Partnership, in 1983, and then joined InterWest Partners, of Menlo Park, California, in 1985.
Mr. Cash currently serves on the boards of the following public companies: Airspan Corporation, CIENA Corporation, i2 Technologies, Inc. Silicon Laboratories, MicroTune, Inc. and Liberte’, Inc. Mr. Cash is a board member of the School of American Research in Santa Fe, New Mexico and the investment committee of the Georgia O’Keefe Museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Lester Dominick, Board of Managers and Treasurer
Lester Dominick founded MortgageFlex Systems, Inc. in 1980 as a consulting firm to specialize in the mortgage banking industry. He has served as president since inception. Dominick's initial work at MortgageFlex Systems focused on systems evaluation, systems design and strategic data processing planning for commercial banks, savings institutions and mortgage companies.
By 1982, the firm had identified the need for lower cost solutions to the problems of mortgage loan origination, and MortgageFlex Systems, the first microcomputer-based loan origination system, was introduced in 1984 based on work with several mortgage companies operating in Southern California.
Mr. Dominick continued to lead the firm's system development and consulting efforts with the introduction of the residential lending system and now the LoanQuest series of products, both of which were designed to meet the growing market for PC and PCnetworking based mortgage systems. Under Dominick's leadership, MortgageFlex Systems has continued its market-driven development initiatives by addressing the growing opportunities presented by UNIX platforms and the development of new communications technology.
Mr. Dominick began his career at Arthur Young & Co. in 1976 as a CPA, where he was a member of the firm's management services consulting group. During his tenure at Arthur Young, his areas of specialization included systems evaluation, project implementation and operational consulting to banks, savings institutions, and mortgage banking and real estate companies.
Mr. Dominick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science from Duke University and an MBA in Management Information Systems and Finance from the University of Southern California.
Peter R. Kassabov, CEO and Managing Director
Entrepreneur Peter Kassabov owns a successful record of transforming new business concepts into profitable, large-scale operational enterprises.
Mr. Kassabov started his career at Logistix Corporation, where he was a key member of an executive team that grew the company in seven years from a small outsourcing entity, with fewer than 300 employees, to one of the world’s largest high-tech outsourcing enterprises with more than $750 million in revenue, 3,500 employees and 18 locations on five continents. Mr. Kassabov was responsible for the implementation and management of integrated direct-to-consumer operations, including e-commerce, customer service, order fulfillment and technology solutions worldwide for companies such as Microsoft, HP, Dell, Apple and Sony.
In 1999, as a Founder and President of Connextions, Inc., one of the leading outsourcing firms in the U.S., Mr. Kassabov spearheaded the company’s self-funded, profitable growth from 30 employees to more than 1,000. Under his leadership, the Connextions team designed and implemented integrated solutions for industry leaders such as Mercedes Benz, Olympus, EarthLink, Chase Manhattan and Nextel. The company’s success was recognized with numerous industry awards, including the “Call Center of the Year,” “CRM Implementation of the Year,” “100 Best Supply Chain Partners,” and “Fast 50,” among others.
In 2003, recognizing healthcare industry challenges and opportunities, Mr. Kassabov founded Connextions Health, LLC. Under his leadership the company grew into a profitable enterprise, employing hundreds of nurses, clinicians and licensed insurance sales agents. Connextions Health’s unique predictive modeling solutions enabled health care insurance plans to identify and manage high cost healthcare conditions through integrated member-centric disease management and wellness programs. Company clients include United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Net and Cedars Sinai.
In 2006 Mr. Kassabov successfully sold his ownership in Connextions and Connextions Health to a major private equity firm.
An American citizen, Mr. Kassabov holds a Master of Science Degree in Engineering from HIACE Institute in Sofia, Bulgaria, his native country. He is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and serves on the Board of the Orlando Chapter of YPO.
Jeffrey Taylor, Managing Director
Prior
to founding Digital Risk, LLC Mr. Taylor was a Partner of Rapid Reporting
Marketing Group, Ltd., the first private company to contract with the
Social Security Administration (SSA) for authentication of Social Security
numbers against the SSA database.
Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer at Avix Technologies, Inc., a carrier-class Application Services Provider to the telecom industry. There, he arranged for initial financing, established the management team and developing strategic partnerships.
In 2001, he served as Vice President – Channel and Strategic Development for iNNERHOST, Inc., a leading application hosting firm, where he was responsible for defining and executing a return to growth and profitability for the company. Mr. Taylor spearheaded the company’s business development working with clients such as Verizon, Telefonica, Cable & Wireless, CANTV.
Prior to that, with Connextions, Inc., an integrated outsourcing provider, Mr. Taylor was responsible for eBusiness development and was a key member of the company's management team, which achieved triple digit revenue growth. His contribution was critical for the award and implementation of custom CRM solutions for Olympus and CBS e-business accounts.
From 1995 to 1999, as Managing Director of the Atlantic Pacific Group, Mr. Taylor acted as Lead Investor/Management Consultant for several early stage ventures, including Industrial Ecosystems and Genetic Vectors, Inc.
Mr. Taylor was also the Founder of American Transfer and Trust, Inc., a SEC licensed stock transfer agency, servicing NASDAQ Small Cap and OTCBB companies. He is a member of the Fraud and Ethics Subcommittee of the Mortgage Bankers Association. Mr. Taylor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Miami.

Alex Santos, COO
Alex
Santos serves as Chief Operations Officer and is responsible for
delivering all aspects of Digital Risk’s products and services. As a
member of the executive team, Alex also develops new products, services
and related delivery vehicles for Digital Risk’s clients.
Prior to Digital Risk, Alex was the Senior Vice President, Supply Chain
for Connextions, Inc. Connextions is one of the country’s most innovative
outsourcers and system integrators. At Connextions, Alex was responsible
for all aspects of the supply chain business unit (manufacturing,
distribution and contract packaging) including responsibility for the
information technology, operations, client service and purchasing
functions.
Prior to Connextions, Alex was a member of Ernst & Young LLP’s Merger
and Acquisition practice serving Fortune 500 clients as well as major
private equity firms in the retail, distribution, manufacturing and
technology industries. While at Ernst & Young, Alex worked on 60
transactions with a total value of $12 billion. Alex began his career as
financial auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
Alex has earned advanced degrees in both Law and Accounting from the
University of Florida. Alex is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of
the Florida Bar.
Bruce Miller, Structured Finance Consultancy Practice
A seasoned securitization professional
with 20+ years experience in the ABS/MBS marketplace, Bruce Miller is responsible for marketing the firm’s
capabilities to the Financial Community.
Before joining Digital Risk, he was Managing Director/Group Head of the Americas Securitization Group at ING Capital,
where was responsible for the firm’s mortgage and non-mortgage related securitization activities in North and South America.
Prior to that, he was a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he founded and ran the firm’s original Conduit and
Credit Products Group; he held senior positions in Asset Finance, Short and Medium Term Finance / Debt Capital Markets,
and Financial Institutions. Previously, Mr. Miller was Head of the Securitization Group at The Daiwa Bank, Ltd., where
he ran the firm’s U.S. securitization business. He has advised clients in the securitization of most consumer and
commercial asset classes, and has originated, structured, and executed securitized financings in the ABCP Conduit,
Public ABS, Private Placement, and Bank markets.
Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from St. John’s University and a M.B.A. with a concentration in
Finance from the New York University Stern School. He has taught corporate finance at the undergraduate level,
and has been a guest speaker at securitization industry conferences.
David C. Cash, Vice President of Business Development
David
C. Cash has proven expertise in sales engineering and new business
development facilitating system design of worldwide large venue
installations; market analysis and application integration of emerging
technologies.
From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Cash held numerous and increasingly important
positions at AMX Corporation. AMX Corporation incorporates one-touch
control solutions to make business and home the perfect blends of
technology and simplicity. As a part of the rapid, worldwide growth of AMX,
Mr. Cash was responsible for the growth of the European and Asian market
segments providing global sales support, sales engineering and client
support. Mr. Cash designed and provided oversight of the company’s
prototype entry into the hotel vertical space.
Following his successful tenure at AMX Corporation, Mr. Cash consulted at
InterWest Partners as a Technical Analyst. In his role he was providing new
ventures technical analysis and evaluation, assisting business strategy
development.
Mr. Cash holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, a Bachelor of
Arts in Psychology from Southern Methodist University, and took
post-graduate studies in European business management in Salamanca, Spain.
He is a lifelong member of the Republican National Committee, The
President’s Club, and Republican Eagles.
Cheri Bransford, Director, Corporate Services
Ms.
Bransford comes to Digital Risk, LLC with extensive executive corporate
experience. Her previous position was with Connextions, Inc., one of the leading
outsourcing and system integration firms in the U.S. At Connextions, she
supported Mr. Kassabov in the daily and strategic operations of Connextions and
in the creation of its Healthcare unit - Connextions Health.
Prior to Connextions, Cheri was Vice President and Corporate Secretary for
the STAR Network, and the HONOR Network prior to the merger with STAR. The STAR
Network is a nationwide financial network, owned by the largest U.S. financial
institutions, providing ATM and POS debit services. She was an integral part of
the merger with STAR and the many acquisitions by HONOR of other Networks. She
was also a vital member of the Integration Team of Star Systems into Concord EFS
and was instrumental in the Secondary Stock Offering with STAR/ Concord on
behalf of the STAR Shareholders. During her successful tenure, she held
positions with increasing responsibilities including corporate marketing, human
resources, executive administration, Board and Shareholder liaison. Cheri was
the first non-Board member elected by the Board of Directors to hold the
position of Corporate Secretary and was elected to the Board Marketing
Committee, the Operations/Technical Committee, and the Board Nomination
Committee as well. She also orchestrated and attended all Board, Board Committee
and Shareholder meetings.
Ms. Bransford holds a management degree from Southern College with a
minor in corporate law.
