Corporate 5K 2017 – D-Riskers Run For a Greater Cause

Year 2017 saw the 23rd year of Corporate 5K, Central Florida’s premier night-time corporate run and Digital Risk has been a regular participant for the sixth year in a row. Last Thursday, D Riskers from the Maitland office had the opportunity of coming together from different departments and run for a greater cause , the proceeds of which support thousands of young people of all abilities to run, swim, play, sail, horseback ride, row, or attend summer camp.

Also called “Orlando’s largest office party”, the Corporate 5K took place at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando. A total of 17,000+ participants ran or walked the 3.1 mile route. After the race, the D-Riskers celebrated their experience in Downtown.

Jeffrey Taylor Kicks Off J.P. Taravella VEI Chapter

On October 14th, Digital Risk Co-Founder & Managing Director Jeffrey Taylor visited the J.P. Taravella High School Virtual Enterprises International (VEI) Chapter to kick off its 2016-2017 academic school year class.

This is the second class that Digital Risk is supporting at J.P. Taravella, located in Broward County, Florida. The VEI Program, which emphasizes college and career readiness, is being implemented in close to 400 secondary schools nationwide. Jeff sits on the national board for VEI and is proud of Digital Risk’s commitment to partner with the high school, supporting and mentoring over 20 bright young future businessmen and businesswomen.

Boca D-Riskers Make Strides in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

South Palm Beach, FL (October 26, 2013) – Boca D-Riskers made strides in the fight against breast cancer, joining more than 11,000 others in the community, for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. The team of 35 D-Riskers, family, and friends was led by team captains Bobbie Castoro and Christine Carcel.

The South Palm Beach Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event is an annual 5k walk around Mizner Park Amphitheater. The event kicked off at 8:30 a.m. and provided live entertainment and a special area for breast cancer survivors.

A Gift For Teaching Receives Much Needed Supplies from Maitland and Lake Mary D-Riskers

Orlando, FL (September 18, 2013) – D-Riskers from the Maitland and Lake Mary offices combined their efforts and donated much needed school supplies to the A Gift For Teaching (AGFT) school supply drive. The drive, led by FASTLANE trainee Kumar Jadoo, received 120 school supplies which were then delivered to AGFT, a local charity in the Greater Orlando area whose mission is to improve education by providing school supplies to teachers for their students in need.
